The road from Kullu to Solang is being widened, and it’s advisable to take the East Bank routes this is much better maintained and has lesser traffic as well. Once you are about to enter Solang Valley you would be stopped at the police post to get the pollution certificate checked and then you’re all set to be surrounded by snow capped peaks.
Once you reach Solang Nahla you would be pleasantly surprised to see so many tourists and this long line of food stalls, chai vendors and corn sellers. Car parking can be bit of a hassle but that’s the last hurdle between you and all that fun that I wish you as Solang Nahla.Ice  skating, snow tubing, snow bikes and Slay rides are all available there.
